streets filled with vehicles, malls infested with ‘rats’, restobars with loveydovey couples and motel owners enjoying the swift increases in their bank accounts . that’s how tomorrow will gonna look like!

it isn’t just kris’ b-day celebration, incidentally(?) it is valentine’s day. and for the hopeless romantic pinoy, what better way to celebrate v-day than spending time (and lots of money) with the one you love, or so it seems…

meanwhile, for the unlucky ones who haven’t found love but only misloves, it’ll just be another ordinary day…

while everybody else is celebrating v-day, my friend dan just finished surgery. It was discovered that she has stones in her bladder. i feel sad that she is alone here in manila facing this ordeal without her family. it’s a good thing though that she has friends (her officemates) to take care of her while waiting for her mom who is yet to arrive the following day after the surgery. i told her that it is just one of the many battles God chose to give to her because He surely knows that she can come out strong, learned and even more faithful to Him out of this.

yesterday was the last day for filing COC’s for those running for seats in the senate. nwei, it was only yesterday when candidates where identified as to who runs for the admin (team unity) and who runs for the opposition (grand coalition).

in these times where our country is in the off-take for a better and more stabilized economy, i hope we can elect men in congress who can draft relevant laws and resolutions and not just waste their time on never-ending committee hearings, tiresome investigations of non-issues, and vested attempts to oust the president. i hope so.
