home and awaiting seven’s arrival

i never thought 2006 would culminate as fun as the past week has been. my well-deserved christmas vacation has been quite short but filled with ecstatic moments with family, old and even new friends. if my multiply pictures could only tell, perhaps at some point they can, how truly happy i am. home, as they say, is where the heart is. and my heart knows and feels that it truly belongs to this little, quiet, and happy place called bacolod.

it is such a joy to see old friends, again. to reminisce old times for old times’ sake, to laugh at our funny past, poor fashion and blissful innocence. topics have migrated and even matured, i would notice. now we are talking about life, marriage, babies, careers and love. ah, how wonderful life is. how wonderful this year is! a year of emotional transition, from being childish and young to becoming more mature but still young.

goodbye 2006, hello 2007. famous new year’s words, huh? to sum it up, the year has been so good to me, and i am only thankful for the many things that He has provided… a decent job, strengthened family ties, genuine friends and knowing that prayer is the most powerful thing in this world. i look back at 2006 with so much learning, and i carry so much of them in my journey onwards. meanwhile, at home and while awaiting for seven’s arrival, i’m looking forward for plenty more learning and even praying for more blessings and more people to share all these.

counting the days

yes, literally and figuratively, i am counting the days to my christmas vacation in home sweet bacolod. it’s nearly 8 months since my last visit (marv’s wedding, oh god, i miss this girl!!!) and i’m just so excited…heheheh! this time it’ll be longer and i’ll have more time catching up with family and friends, attending reunions, and partying! as of this writing, it’s 8 days more to go! yippee!!!

***tsk. tsk.***

at work: last sunday, i prayed for a sign and got it this week. i’m so happy… for now (just for now, take note), i’m keeping my mouth shut and keeping these fingers from writing (perhaps, typing) more. i hope and pray everything will really turn out well. (=
