for the very first time ever in my entire history, willingly and without being told to, i was able to clean a bathroom—our common apartment bathroom. who would have thought? it all started when i, on a very rare occasion too, was hand washing some of my stuffs when i got enticed to clean the bathroom just as well—you know that weird sense of urge. and so i bravely went inside, poured over some powder, and scrubbed the floor without gloves and without even thinking of disgust. hahaha… funny sometimes how my impulses make me do things i never wanted to do. anyway, it was a cheaper yet fulfilling gift to my apartment and to my housemates this christmas. now i can get back to you guys! this time, i’ll do the nagging.
tsk.tsk.

the christmas list
even though the weather contradicts it, nothing can stop the spirit of christmas from being felt by christmas believers.
as the song goes, ‘tis the season to be jolly… and so i say ‘tis the season to be giving and wise in spending too… the former i’m good at and the latter i might still need a little improvement at.
eversince, i have always been fond of shopping and buying gifts (aka pasalubong) not only in christmas but also everytime when i’m on travel. and believe it or not, i enjoy buying gifts for others than for myself. even on a tight budget, i can always get away with buying the cheapest yet functional gifts.
this christmas is no different from the rest. as early as late october, i’ve already started planning, conceptualizing and even buying gifts. and so the other week, i was able to put everything into writing and viola!—my christmas list. i’m almost 50% done with the shopping; only a few more things to buy before i go home for a well-deserved christmas vacation. and if there is additional budget, probably more people to add on the list… wishfully.
shopping, shopping, shopping!
too bad, my name is on the end of the list.
tsk. tsk.
